Washington Realtors announce endorsements for two statewide races

The Washington Association of REALTORS®, the state's largest professional organization of 25,000 members, have announced two endorsements for statewide races. The announcement was made following candidate interviews by a 17-member Statewide Candidate Interview Team. The endorsements are: Mike Kreidler, Insurance Commissioner and Terry Bergeson, Superintendent of Public Instruction.
In the 2004 election cycle, Washington Realtors spent $750,000 to support Democrats and Republicans who are committed to encouraging economic vitality, providing housing opportunities, and building better communities.
The Association's endorsement process includes consideration by an interview team composed of Realtors from communities throughout the state. The team carefully considers each candidate’s electability, professional background, and positions on issues affecting our state's quality of life.
